App widget not showing on storefront
If the app widget is not visible on your storefront, check the following:
- Confirm the app is enabled in Settings > Status
- Ensure the app embed is activated in your theme customizer
- Clear your browser cache and reload the page
- Test in an incognito window to rule out browser extensions
Theme conflicts
Ego Mobile App Builder is tested with 100+ Shopify themes. If you encounter styling conflicts, navigate to Design > Custom CSS and add overrides for your specific theme.
Performance tips
To minimize impact on page load speed, enable lazy loading in Settings > Performance. This defers non-critical app resources until after the main page content loads.
Common error messages

- "Permission denied" — Re-authorize the app from the Shopify App Store
