Overview
This guide walks you through the complete setup process for Ego Preorder. By the end you will have the app installed, configured, and running live on your Shopify store.
Prerequisites
Before you begin, make sure you have the following:
- An active Shopify store (Basic plan or higher)
- Admin access to your Shopify dashboard
- Ego Preorder installed from the Shopify App Store
Step 1: Install the app
Navigate to the Shopify App Store and search for Ego Preorder. Click Add app and follow the OAuth permissions flow to authorize the installation.
Step 2: Initial configuration
From the app dashboard, navigate to Settings to configure the core options. Most merchants complete initial setup in under 15 minutes.
Step 3: Design and customization
Ego Preorder is designed to work with all Shopify themes. Use the Design section to match the app appearance to your store branding.
Testing your setup
Use Shopify's built-in preview mode or a test order to verify that Ego Preorder is functioning correctly before going live.
